Onomichi Sakuradai / Spring

You can enjoy wild red sea bream from Onomichi, which boasts one of the highest catches in the prefecture, at Onomichi Seasonal Local Fish Shop.
They are caught throughout the year, but the ones caught in the spring are called "Sakura Tai" and are not only vibrant in appearance, but also fatty and delicious. Enjoy them while the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Otake City

Hiroshima Lemon Salmon / Spring

Rainbow trout raised in the north of the prefecture are fed lemons at a farm in Adatajima, Otake City, and raised to become Hiroshima lemon salmon. The salmon, born in Hiroshima and raised in Otake, is chewy, springy, and has a refreshing taste, as it is processed immediately after being killed alive.
