In autumn in Hiroshima, you can enjoy many seasonal ingredients that reflect the bounty of nature, such as delicious rice harvested from various regions, flavorful vegetables and fruits, and fatty seafood.

Yoshiwa Abalone Mushrooms / Autumn

Its origins are in Southern Europe and China, and it was named after our company owner, who, when eating an authentic Chinese dish of abalone and abaco mushroom soup, was unable to guess which was the real abalone.
This mushroom is hardly available in Japan, so we wanted to somehow cultivate it in Hiroshima.
Research, development and cultivation have begun at a cultivation facility on the Megadaira Plateau in Yoshiwa, Hatsukaichi City.
