Koji Shimizu

A writer, editor, and author from Hiroshima. In 2026, his travelogue of Saijo, a city known for its sake, "Kurakura Saijo" (The Media John) won the "15th Hiroshima Book Award (Nonfiction Category)." In 2019, his book "Won't You Share Your Love and Courage?" (Shogakukan) won the "9th Hiroshima Book Award (Novel Category)." He is the first to win both awards. He is also active in the unit "Honto BOYS" with illustrator Kamigaki Hirofumi.
