As part of the A Taste of HIROSHIMA project,Cheer! Hiroshima Hiroshima Prefecture Support SystemThis initiative supports the expansion of sales channels for agricultural, forestry, and fishery products produced within the prefecture, both within and outside the prefecture.

Kirin Brewery Company, Limited will use a portion of the sales of "Kirin Ichiban Shibori Draft Beer" to support producers across Japan who are challenging themselves to create "new delicious flavors.""Ichiban Shibori ACTION"In this context, NPO Karuya, a registered business of "Cheer! Hiroshima" working on "Karuya eggplant" from Hiroshima Prefecture, was selected as a recipient. ✨

Following this, on August 25th (Tuesday), representatives from the NPO Karuya and Kirin Brewery Co., Ltd. paid a courtesy visit to Vice Governor Yoshimatsu.

After Kirin Brewery Co., Ltd. and NPO Karuya introduced their initiatives, Vice Governor Yoshimatsu actually sampled Karuya eggplants 🍽️

Furthermore, Vice Governor Yoshimatsu commented, "The efforts of the NPO Karuya are an initiative that utilizes local resources to support farmland and communities, and I would like to see them continue."
