Each region of the prefecture is invited to submit their "oshi-shoku" (favorite food) and a "oshi-shoku catalyst" (someone who will talk about the appeal of that food) as a set, and then the prefecture's residents can vote for their favorite food!! \The Grand Prize goes to Yasumasa Eguane of "Yasha Udon"!!/

Yasha Udon is an original udon noodle dish made with miso-based broth and seasoned with chili oil and other spices, resulting in an addictive bowl of spiciness followed by a rich umami flavor. The main toppings are Akitakata green onions and sweet pork. The soup goes perfectly with rice.

Etane commented, "The best thing about winning this Grand Prix was being able to come together with the people of Aki-Takata and promote the attractions of our local area. I would like to continue to use Yasha Udon to promote the fact that Hiroshima Prefecture has many delicious foods and that Hiroshima still has many more attractions."
