FooDrinpic Runway Report ~Jinseki Kogen Town~
The FooDrinpic Runway aims to delve deeper into and communicate the appeal of the FooDrinpic entry theme!
This time we will be sending you a report on the event held in Jinseki Takahara Town.
The entry from Jinsekikogen Town was the famous "Jinseki Beef"!
Only 400 head of cattle are shipped annually, making this a truly mythical Wagyu beef.
It is characterized by its rich flavor and melt-in-the-mouth texture, and the exquisite balance of lean meat and low-melting point fat creates a refined taste.
The venue was "Premiun Yakiniku Jinseki" in front of Fukuyama Station. It is one of the leading restaurants in the prefecture that offers Jinseki beef at reasonable prices.
First, Mitsusue, a producer of Jinsekigyu beef, talked about the difficulties he faces in production and his love for the Jinsekigyu beef he ships out.
As a supplement to that, Mr. Fujioka from MASERRNT gave a presentation on the results of a scientific analysis of Jinseki beef, explaining the basis for its flavor.
Furthermore, Director Tange of MASERRNT, which has launched a project to change Japan from Jinsekikogen Town and is involved in various businesses, said:
The significance of promoting Jinishi beef and its importance in spreading the appeal of the region were conveyed.
Finally, Chairman Inoue of the Jinsekigyu Promotion Association expressed his gratitude and shared his thoughts on further promoting Jinsekigyu in the future.
The person who got his hands on this Jinsekigyu beef is Chef Hoshimoto, the young executive chef at Fukuyama New Castle Hotel.
The chef wanted to enhance the flavor of the Jinseki beef by using local ingredients from Fukuyama.
This dish is made by preparing Jinseki beef as roast beef, combining it with oysters caught in Fukuyama, and topping it off with a consommé jelly made from thoroughly boiled Jinseki beef extract.
Those who tried it commented that it was a wonderful dish that naturally put a smile on their face.
There were also comments of gratitude from producers for the careful preparation of the food.
And what's more, it has been decided that an arrangement of the menu created by Chef Hoshimoto will also be on the menu at Premium Yakiniku Jinseki!
Please come and try it for yourself.
I think that opportunities for producers to learn about the possibilities of how they can get their produce to consumers will lead to mutual improvement.
It was a memorable experience to see the appeal of the local food, the thoughts of the producers, and the chefs who embraced it.
Thank you to everyone in Jinsekikogen Town!
