In Hiroshima Prefecture, with the aim of expanding sales channels and consumption of prefecture-produced agricultural, forestry, and fishery products, we took the opportunity of the G7 Hiroshima Summit held in May last year to refine the prefecture's diverse food assets with a variety of actors and disseminate their appeal. We are promoting the "A Taste of HIROSHIMA" project.

This time, WAVE 26 selected businesses of "HIROSHIMA FOOD HEROES CHALLENGE" (hereinafter referred to as "this program"), which is one of the programs promoted by this project, have taken on the challenge with pride and refined the "food" ” unveiling party and tasting voting event were held at Kamiyacho Swing on Friday, January XNUMX, XNUMX.

Seven business operators selected in this program WAVE3 participated, and in the presence of Vice Governor Yamane, they gave presentations on the appeal and commitment of refined food.

In the second half of the unveiling event, a tasting voting session was held, and dishes and products made from agricultural, forestry and fishery products from all over Hiroshima Prefecture were served to the media and the general public.

Vice Governor Yamane also tasted the food and said, ``All the business owners were very motivated, and each food they refined had its own unique characteristics.'' We want to continue to spread the word so that people will think, ``Hiroshima is delicious!'' ” commented.

Comments from the general public included, ``I'm glad I was able to experience ingredients I've never tried before,'' and ``It was interesting to be able to taste the food while hearing directly from the operators about their key points.''

The refined food is sold at restaurants and EC sites of various organizations, mainly in Hiroshima Prefecture. Stores that carry this product will be posted on the "A Taste of HIROSHIMA Tabesai Store" website in the future.



At this unveiling event, we held a voting event for tasting samples exhibited by all seven businesses.

As a result of the tasting vote, the Hiroshima City Meat Market Buyer and Sellers Association, which received the highest number of votes, was presented with an award at the "A Taste of HIROSHIMA Award" held on Wednesday, February 7th.
