Hiroshima Prefecture will use the GXNUMX Hiroshima Summit held in May as an opportunity to refine the prefecture's diverse food assets with a variety of actors and communicate their appeal, with the aim of expanding sales channels and consumption of prefecture-produced agricultural, forestry, and fishery products. We are promoting the "A Taste of HIROSHIMA" project.
This time, WAVE 5 selected businesses of "HIROSHIMA FOOD HEROES CHALLENGE" (hereinafter referred to as "this program"), which is one of the programs promoted by this project, have taken on the challenge with pride and refined the "food" ” was held at Kamiyacho Swing on October 10, 12 (Thursday).
The 2 business operators selected in this program WAVE10 participated, and in the presence of Vice Governor Tamai, they gave presentations on the appeal and commitment of refined food.

In the second half of the unveiling event, tastings were held, and dishes and products made from agricultural, forestry, and fishery products from all over Hiroshima Prefecture were served to the media and the general public.
Vice Governor Tamai also tasted the food and commented, ``Everyone was able to creatively utilize Hiroshima's delicious foods and ingredients that were scheduled to be discarded, and I felt that there is still a lot of potential for Hiroshima-produced ingredients.''
Members of the public also commented, ``Even though I'm from Hiroshima, there were a lot of ingredients that I didn't know about,'' and ``It's good because I can see who made the food and how it was made, so I can eat with more gratitude.''
